Our room at Yutorelo was spacious and comfortable, with a traditional Japanese style. Despite the lack of shower or bathtub in the room, the onsen on the first floor was a great experience. The breakfast and dinner provided by the hotel were surprisingly delicious. The staff, although some struggled with English, were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

This hotel offers great value for money and is located within walking distance of the beautiful lake. The rooms are spacious and come with a bathroom, which is a bonus. The staff, especially the older Japanese male staff, are very helpful and try their best to assist despite the language barrier. The breakfast provided is delicious and a great way to start the day.
The hotel could improve on their onsen timings.

The food was exceptional, both breakfast and dinner were mouth-watering and of high-quality. The onsen was superb with an outdoor option and a stunning view in addition to its many features. The ryokan's staff was accommodating, hospitable, and friendly.
The Wi-Fi was only available on the first floor, making it difficult to connect when in the rooms located on the upper floors. the location was quite remote and far from local attractions.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, with a Japanese style, comfortable and clean room. Everything was spacious, and the massage chair was a bonus after a relaxing onsen experience. Breakfast and dinner were surprisingly good with a wide selection of food. The staff was friendly and helpful, despite some language barriers.
Nothing, all excellent.

If you're looking for a relaxing and affordable getaway, this hotel is for you. You can enjoy cozy onsens just a short walk from the serene lakeside. The room is comfortably clean and equipped with a bathroom. There's a massive lounge area to gather in, as well as fantastic souvenirs and restaurants nearby. The hotel’s Roten Bath is a must-visit, with a natural beauty outside.
The decor is a bit old-fashioned in some areas of the hotel, but that's nitpicking.

Christmas at this hotel was perfect! Complementary hot chocolate by the cozy fireplace made it feel like home. the location was ideal, just a short walk to the lake where we could watch the beautiful fireworks display every night. the onsen was a highlight, and soaking in the hot pool surrounded by nature was so relaxing.
While the hotel was comfortable, the decor felt a bit outdated, but it's really a minor issue. the staff could have been more welcoming, but overall they were helpful when we had questions.
